Is the property smoke free?

Yes, all the properties we manage are smoke free, however provision is made for smokers outside the building.

How long does it take to get to the airport?

Subject to traffic, Chalet Queenstown is 10 minutes from the airport.

How do I get from the airport to Chalet Queenstown?

There are a number of options, but the main ways are bus, shuttle or taxi. All are available from outside the arrival terminal.

I am travelling to Queenstown by bus. How long will it take to walk from the depot to Chalet Queenstown?

It will take you 10-12 minutes to walk from the Athol Street bus stop to Chalet Queenstown.  You could ask your driver if he could let you off at the Millennium Hotel Bus Stop and then it is only a 1-2 minute walk to Chalet Queenstown.

Do you have parking available for my rental vehicle?

Free offstreet parking is available for guests.  For no charge you are able to leave your vehicle here if you are off walking Milford or other walking tracks or doing an overnight cruise in Fiordland.

Can I leave bags here while I am trekking, cruising, or on Stewart Island?

We have secure storage for any luggage you wish us to take care of. Just let us know while you are here.

What happens if I leave some of my belongings here by accident?

We would usually contact the guest to advise of this. We hold the item for 4 weeks to hear from the guest if it is needed to be returned.
